As the Horizon Europe Mission "Restore our Ocean and Waters" moves towards the critical deployment phase, it is essential to ensure that knowledge, tools, and technical solutions developed during the preparatory phase are effectively transferred, adapted, and implemented across the diverse socio-economic and environmental contexts in Europe. As part of the Danish EU Presidency, this conference brings together stakeholders to provide a forum for policy alignment, solution exchange and roadmap development to support the effective deployment and long-term impact of the Mission on aquatic ecosystems. 

Through panel discussions and workshops, participants will reflect on the lessons learned, identify transferable solutions, and develop actionable recommendations. At the heart of the event is the co-development of a Strategic Roadmap to guide future actions and enhance the Mission’s impact across diverse European contexts.

The event gathers stakeholders from across Europe to discuss policies and exchange solutions to further the mission on aquatic ecosystems. Nordic Ocean Watch will be taking part in the discussions and the various workshops during the conference to share our experience and connect with fellow ocean advocates.
