My name is Regitze Andersen, I am the founder and general manager of Nordic Ocean Watch Denmark and I will be part of the volunteer research crew onboard Bark Europa.
I have always been drawn to the ocean and love to explore the marine environment through activities such as diving, surfing and sailing. We have all seen how plastic pollution is threatening our ocean and all marine life in it. So it was only natural for me to start an organisation that protects the ocean. I am an adventurer at heart and combining my love for the ocean with the Transatlantic Expedition onboard Bark Europa is a unique opportunity.
